OUR STONE

VARIETY • UNIQUE • LIFELONG

Here at Native Stone Company, we produce and sell beautiful, native Kansas limestone. Our specialty is stone veneer (and thin veneer stone), but we also offer dimensional cut stone, such as sills, headers, hearths and mantles, and custom pieces.

There are four different colors of limestone that are offered, making the customer's personal choice unique. We also offer an assortment of landscaping stone.

DEDICATED TO THE ENTIRE PROCESS

Our stone plant is located in Topeka, Kansas and the stone is quarried in Flint Hills of Kansas, specifically Wabaunsee County. A wonderful central location to help better serve our customers. We sell and ship stone all over the United States, so no customer is ever too far away.

We work daily with and have access to many shipping brokers to get the most competitive rates. We ship our stone on flatbed semi trucks, shipping containers (railroad), and LTL (less than truckload freight).

We dedicate ourselves to achieve the best possible product for our customers. From the stone quarry to your home, we take pride in the entire process.

Please contact us for any of your stone needs, and let us help create your one-of-a-kind project.

CUSTOM STONE BLENDS

A popular option to blend any of the Kansas limestones to create a unique and one-of-a-kind look.

FULL BED & THIN STONE VENEER

FULL BED VENEER

Time tested method of installation for centuries. Typically 3 to 5 inches in depth, full stone veneer is much heavier than thin stone veneer and takes longer to install due to its weight and thickness. However, full stone veneer’s size also offers a distinct advantage over thin stone veneer when it comes to customization and focusing on the details.

Full bed veneer requires a foundation footing and averages 35-40 square foot per ton (depending on stone). The cost of the product is less than thin stone, but because of installation costs, usually ends up more expensive. It takes more time and effort to lift and install.

THIN STONE VENEER

Natural Thin Stone Veneer has all the qualities of full bed stone veneer, except the weight. Produced with thicknesses of 1.25” +/- at an average weight of 12-15 lbs per square foot (depending on stone selection).

Lightweight veneer is much easier to install and does not require a foundation footing. The cost is slightly more to produce, but overall less (compared to full bed) because of easier installation.

Both options last a lifetime with proper installation! Click on each to enlarge and more info.
